If I could give a higher star rating I would.

I honestly cannot thank Lee and his team enough for the sheer amount of work they did to my mom’s car to get her back in the road. They went above and beyond to replace a clutch on a VW UP, when nobody else would. Thankfully she’s back driving and everything is fine.

If ever I’m in a position to recommend them to anyone I will (but promise it won’t be for a VW UP next time)

Absolutely cannot rate the team at VMTP highly enough.

I picked up a T5 transporter with an automatic box. Very quickly started showing signs of being very poorly. Not engaging gears and over revving.

Not only did VMTP sort the absolute lot! (on a gearbox that parts are bloody hard to get hold of no less) they sorted the recovery of the van for me, and kept everything as reasonable as possible price wise given the complexity of the fix. With constant updates to boot.

If you have an issue, don’t hesitate to go and see these guys. Absolutely phenomenal service from start to finish.

I’m not one to leave reviews when purchasing a product or receiving a service but after the beyond amazing service received from VMTP Midlands Limited, I can’t not leave a review. In January my CLA220 CDI AMG SPORT broke down and was taken to a garage in Tipton for repair by the AA. The state my car was left in by that previous garage was worse off than when it went in initially and I was forced to remove my car and find specialist help.

I came across VMTP after doing some research and I’m so glad I did. The professionalism, the experience and knowledge, and inviting energy were like nothing I’d come across before. They explained complex problems in a simplistic way and was able to give me an idea of what costing may possibly be and did whatever they could, even going out of their way to keep costing down, whilst also keeping me informed promptly throughout the time my car was there.

They were able to reassure me and leave my mind at peace which I couldn’t thank them enough for especially with the experience I had at a previous garage.

I will and would recommend them to anyone if they have a transmission or gearbox issue as I genuinely thought my car was never going to run again after being without out for near a month prior to them receiving it.

I can’t thank them enough and will take my car back there in a heartbeat but with the fix they provided I’d be extremely surprised if an issue were to reoccur anytime soon. Massive massive thanks to Lee and Nigel for the service!

My 2013 113,000 mile Freelander 2 required a complete automatic gearbox overhaul and rebuild. I trusted VMTP with the job. From start to finish I was mightily impressed, all my questions were fully answered by Lee and one of the technicians.

The knowledge base and expertise of the people in this company is huge. Great to see a motor trade specialist with grounded common sense, practical customer facing skills, and outstanding technical expertise, alive, well and kicking.

Whilst not the most local to me, I decided to contact VMTP for an auto transmission service on my 3 series based upon reviews and their ZF specialist status.

Very impressive: nice staff – polite and easy to get car booked in. Great workshop with customer waiting area.

Vehicle gear changes seem to be improved and slick so very happy with work done.

All the staff went above and beyond can’t thank them enough went out of their way to help me at a very difficult time and solved a big problem for me highly recommend to anyone.

I would have no hesitation in recommending VMTP

Excellent service, friendly, knowledgeable, honest and overall stand-up guys.

Took my Astra to them after it had a serious gearbox fault days after purchase. They did a full diagnostic for a very reasonable price and called me to discuss with no pressure to go ahead with the repair.

Very sympathetic to my situation and even held the car for me until I worked out what I was doing with it. I’m in dispute with the dealer over the car, and Lee and the team have been supportive, understanding, and helpful as much as possible, which has made a huge difference.

Although I chose not to go ahead with the repair because it was more than the car is worth, I will definitely be going to VMTP for any future gearbox issues or servicing. Cannot recommend highly enough!
